Subscriptions

Membership of the club currently costs only £30 per annum for senior runners. We have different membership costs for junior athletes – i.e. those under-16 or still in full-time education.

Members at the Annual General Meeting agree subscription charges in February each year. Members who join the club during a full year are charged a pro-rata amount.

Members have three months from each AGM to pay subscriptions. Those members who have paid subscription are eligible to be entered by the club in races organised by other clubs, as part of our ‘club entry’ process whereby we enter all those who wish to run as part of a single. ‘block’ entry. Members are subsequently requested to repay these costs as part of the ‘race fee’ process.

Paid-up members are also eligible to compete in those ‘internal’ competitions, open only to Wallsend members. These include the club championships, the summer and winter Grand Prix events.
