We've left our website for the past week or so to allow visitors to add their tributes to Terry. In his spirit we're pulling our fingers out and celebrating the performances of athletes from Wallsend Harriers these past few weeks.

Firstly, Brian Hetherington and Tony Maddocks represented the Green and Gold at the Northern Cross Country Championships in Pontefract on January 28. Brian was 162nd and Tony 657th - great efforts by both. Full results here and thanks to Tyne Bridge Harriers for transporting our troops to the event.

That same day Jimmy Flynn posted a 22:42 in the Newcastle parkrun.

Then on January 29 Eric Smart won the Veterans 90m Final at Pitreavie in Scotland - brilliant work Eric.

Then Phil Aiston tried his hand at the parkrun yesterday and came a tidy 2nd in 16:31. Nice to have you back Phil!
