you can thank me on Saturday for picking this photo

In case you didn't know, the first event of the North East Harrier League is in Cramlington on Saturday, hosted by our friends at Blyth Running Club. This will also be the location of the North East XC Championships in Dcember.

For those of us who don’t know where Northumberland is, or what a hill looks like, Stacey Rogers of Statland has been crunching away to provide all the info we could possibly need to get to the start line and then to get round the course.

So, following her GNR guide, here’s details of how to get there and what the course is like n that.

Lads, please arrive at the Wallsend tent for midday, so Mick can dish out the numbers in enough time to warm up ahead of the scheduled 1.15pm start. If you can't get there for 12 please let Mick know you're definitely running so he can plan accordingly.

Lasses - in the absence of our inspirational ladies captain, if the girls meet Emma at the tent any time from 12.30pm she will give you your number and register any new runners. The girls will then be heading straight to the sidelines to cheer on the men!!

Come on Wallsend! (is what they'll be saying)

PS Don't forget our NEHL XC guide here (summary: muddy, hilly, loads of fun).
