Lee Morgan has put his Statto head on, crunched through 12 months of numbers and now presents the Wallsend Harriers 2011 Rankings for 5k, 5M, 10k, 10M, Half Marathon and Marathon.

He writes:

I went through all the results from the Race Results Index page on the website so if anyone has done a race where their best time was not on the website then I'm afraid they won't be included.

Some points of interest:

- There were 78 current members who competed in the green and gold in 2011
- Paul James was the only athlete to take part in all distances
- The marathon was the only distance where we had more females compete than men (11 - 4)
- Stacey Rogers is the only female to top an overall list (marathon - 2.53.27)
- There were 5 club records broken in 2011
- The Great North Run provided more fastest times than any other race - 33

The full list of rankings is here

2011: the year Website Wally told us back in March:

"Throw back the shoulders, let the heart sing, let the eyes flash, let the mind be lifted up, look upward and say to yourself... Nothing is impossible!"

And by golly gosh didn't we just do that - race wins all over the place, a world champion, an international call-up, a heap of new members, PBs across the club, the Toby, Harrier Leagues, duathlons, triathlons, marathons, cakes, bells, the World Masters, 24-hour runs, rubbing shoulders with the elite, engagements, babies, the return of Devil Takes the Hindmost, and the night three generations of OG decided to have a quick chat with the Ethiopian lad who'd just won the Elswick 5k.

To fill in the survey please click here - it asks for names but results will be anonymous.

To help - a list of all races our members have done, complete with results, reports and photos where available, is just underneath this post...
